Dashboard Overview

The Dashboard is your central hub for monitoring shipment activity and accessing key features of the ShipX platform. This guide will help you understand the various components and functionality available on the Dashboard.

Dashboard Layout

The Dashboard provides a comprehensive view of your shipment operations with the following key components:

1. Search and Filter Options

  • Search Bar: Quickly find specific orders by entering order details, tracking numbers, or other relevant information
  • Warehouse Locations: Filter which hub you want to see data on if applicable.
  • Date Filter: Select different time periods (Day, Week, Month, Custom) to focus on specific timeframes

2. Key Performance Metrics

At the top of the Dashboard, you'll find important summary metrics:

  • Total Shipments: The overall count of shipments within the selected time period
  • On-Time Deliveries: Number and percentage of shipments delivered according to schedule
  • Exceptions: Shipments that have encountered delays, issues, or require attention

3. Shipment Analytics

  • Card Graph: Visual representation of shipment volume, on time, and exceptions trends over time
    • Select between total shipments, on time , or exceptions card views
    • Hover over data points for detailed information
    • Compare performance across different time periods

4. Shipment History List

  • Recent shipment activity displayed in a sortable table format
  • Key information for each shipment including:
    • Order and Tracking Number
    • Origin and Destination
    • Estimated Delivery Date
    • Actionable items: view details or void shipment
  • Click on any shipment to view its detailed tracking information

Navigation Menu

The sidebar navigation menu provides access to different sections of the platform:

  • Dashboard: Return to the main overview screen (current view)
  • Shipment List: View and manage all active shipments
  • Shipment History: Access complete historical records of past shipments
  • Company: View and update company profile and settings

Tips for Using the Dashboard

  • Regular Monitoring: Check the Dashboard daily to stay informed about shipment status
  • Exception Management: Pay special attention to the Exceptions metric to quickly identify and resolve issues
  • Data Analysis: Use the Total Shipment graph to identify patterns and optimize your shipping operations
  • Custom Date Ranges: For detailed analysis, set custom date filters to focus on specific time periods
